Hello everyone! Today is the day we launch the new IOTA website. Hopefully you like the new look. More importantly, we hope this new site has made it easier for you to find the information that you need.
- Events are now located in the calendar, which you can get to by clicking on the calendar button on the main menu at the top of every page. In addition, the next three important events are featured on the sidebar to the right on every page. Hopefully this will help everyone to stay better informed concerning CE opportunities, OT social events, conferences, and IOTA meetings. Each event contains all pertinent information including a map, web addresses, and the ability to export the event to your own calendar.
- News Items are now located on the News page, which you can get to by clicking on the news button on the menu at the top of every page. News items are arranged by date, but can also be explored by type. For example if you are reading a news item about students, and you want to see all the news items related to students, you can click on the tag “students” and see all other news that has been similarly tagged. In addition, you can always view the most recent news items in the IOTA News slideshow located on the main page. There’s always new information to assist you, so check back often!
- The IOTA Forum – Starting later this month (April) IOTA members will be able to discuss upcoming events, news, jobs, research, and CE opportunities on the IOTA forum. You will be able to reach the forum by clicking on the Forum button on the main menu located at the top of every page. Though non-members will be able to read some categories of the forum, only current members will be able to comment and discuss with other members.
- Membership Management- Starting later this month (April), IOTA members will be able to manage their membership status through this website. The sign in button is currently disabled while we text functionality, but soon you will be able access special members only features including the IOTA Forum, special CE opportunities and discounts, and IOTA news.
- Event Registration – Starting on April 7, you will be able to register for IOTA events, purchase entry, and RSVP through this website. This includes our upcoming Spring Treatment Summit and the Annual IOTA Conference.
