Dear Occupational Therapist,
you are invited to participate in a research project that is being conducted by Sacred Heart University Graduate Students in the Occupational Therapy Program. The purpose of this study is to collect data on occupational therapists’ knowledge and use of pediatric mental health assessments within the school setting and to identify any barriers or impact in their use for evaluation and treatment planning. We are kindly asking for your participation if you meet the inclusion criteria. The information gathered from the surveys will help us understand occupational therapists’ knowledge and use of pediatric mental health assessments. By participating, you will be providing us with crucial information to support our study. In order to participate, you must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program, hold a current state-specific occupational therapy license, and work in a school setting as a school-based occupational therapist. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and the anticipated number of respondents is 50. The survey will include basic demographic information and a series of multiple choice and open-ended questions regarding your experiences within the school setting. By completing the Microsoft Forms Survey, you consent to participate in this study. Your participation is voluntary. All responses obtained through the survey will remain confidential and anonymous. All responses will be recorded in Microsoft Forms that only researchers listed on the IRB submission can access.
