Kylie Hohwieler

Kylie graduated with a clinical doctorate from Creighton University Occupational Therapy Program in 2020. Kylie moved to Idaho and started her career in pediatric occupational therapy. Kylie currently works at Children’s Therapy Place in Twin Falls. Kylie has a background with working in the Infant Toddler Program and currently works with children from 3-16 years old with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and ADHD/behavior concerns. Kylie, is a new momma to a sweet baby girl, Hallie, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband. Together they enjoy hiking, biking, boating, and skiing.

Rachael Dorton

Rachael graduated in 2021 from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana with her doctorate in Occupational Therapy. At the start of 2022, Rachael made the move from Montana to Idaho to persue a job with the Infant Toddler Program in Twin Falls. Rachael has a passion for working with children and their families and plans to obtain her IBCLC in the next year to provide lactation support services in southern Idaho. Rachael grew up a military brat and lived in several places including Alaska, New Mexico, and Louisiana. This lifestyle instilled a passion for traveling, which Rachael does whenever she can. She has a goal to visit all 50 states. In her free time, Rachael enjoys baking and doing ridiculously hard puzzles. She looks forward to being part of the IOTA board and growing in professional knowledge, mentorship, and collaboration.

Katie Broderius

Katie is a licensed occupational therapist and is passionate about working with children. She loves to support and help each child she works with blossom into the unique individual they were meant to become. Katie eagerly applies her knowledge and creativity to each child and family she interacts with to best meet their needs. Katie served on the IOTA board as a student of the ISU MOT program and is looking forward to continuing her professional development by serving the IOTA Board as a practitioner! When not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, baby, and dog. She also loves hiking, swimming, baking, and secretly loves to clean and organize!

Christi Shelley

Christi graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Eastern Washington University and with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2016. She currently works in pediatric private practice in Hayden Idaho. Christi has specialized training in sensory processing and integration, complex developmental trauma, and use of assistive technology to support independence in every day life. As a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner she believes that the most important part of clinical practice is providing felt safety and giving voice to children. Christi is very excited to join the IOTA team to continue to build relationships within the occupational therapy community, advocate for current needs within her region, and continue progressing in her own professional development. When she isn’t working she lives at home with her husband and dog and enjoys outdoor activities, reading, traveling, and board games with friends and family.
