ISU OTA Program Update April 2017

Apr 1, 2017 | Education Programs

The OTA program at Idaho State University is up and running. We accepted our first cohort of 16 students in January and we enjoy learning about the great profession of Occupational Therapy along with getting to know each other. The program had a ribbon cutting/open house ceremony to celebrate this great accomplishment on Feb 9th.

We are well underway with accreditation with candidacy status and will submit our self-study report in July. Once that is accepted, we will have on-site evaluators next spring and will hear about final accreditation status in May of 2018.

Our first advisory board meeting is planned for April 20th.

We will begin our next cohort of students in Fall of 2018. The admission process will become competitive and we will have cohorts of 20 students each fall semester. The application process will open in January of 2018. Information about how to apply can be found at ISU.edu or by calling student services at 208-282-2622
