What It Is

Moving to Higher Ground is a holistic, trans-disciplinary, neurobiology-informed, strength-based, and relationship-focused approach to clinical mentorship led by Kim Barthel, OTR. Supported by a team of co-facilitators, Kim has been leading MTHGs in various countries and different kinds of settings since 2001.

About Kim

Kim Barthel is an occupational therapist from Canada, a multi-disciplinary teacher, mentor, and best-selling author who is active in supporting people in many contexts globally. She is passionate about understanding neurobiology, complex behavior, movement, trauma-sensitive practice, sensory processing, attachment, and mental health. An advanced NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) instructor and international speaker, Kim has 38+ years of practice in helping people to be their best selves.

For $2,650 USD, applicants will receive a certificate for 40 contact hours
Price includes all meals and lodging. Non-refundable $500 USD deposit due at application.
