IOTA not only promotes and advocates for our profession and you, but we have a legislative consultant that helps us monitor numerous legislative bills every season! We write letters, make phone calls, and testify at legislative bill hearings as needed to assure you and OT is promoted and protected!

IOTA has a wealth of knowledge and connections throughout the state and is always a member’s go-to whenever they need information.
O: OT Connections & Networking
Member meet-ups and social get-togethers happen ALL of the state! The meet & greets are so fun, as they allow local OTPs to meet and network with other local colleagues in their area and to see old friends they don’t get many opportunities to collaborate with. In addition, enjoy the benefit of joining the dialogue on our Member’s ONLY Forum on IOTA’s website to collaborate, ask questions, share ideas, and learn new treatment strategies!
V: Volunteer – Leadership Opportunities
Members have the opportunity to volunteer on a plethora of levels, from volunteering as an Executive Board Member, an IOTA Chair, District Chair, at annual conference, at legislative events, community advocacy events, etc. Volunteering not only feels good to be giving back to the profession but also allows you to receive PDUs.
