LIGIBILITY: We welcome you to participate in this survey if you are over 18 years old and are a licensed occupational therapy practitioner (OTR or OTA) currently practicing in an acute care hospital setting in the United States. This project has been approved by the Institutional Review Boards (IRB) at University of Minnesota (#00022945) and Mayo Clinic-Rochester (#24-008224).
AIM / PROCEDURE: The researchers aim is to better understand how occupational therapy practitioners use and conduct research in the acute care setting as well as explore factors that influence practitioners’ implementation of evidence in practice and conduction of research in the acute care setting. Participation in this study involves sharing perspectives and experiences related to evidence-based practice and research conduction via a one-time electronic survey.
TIME: Estimated time commitment is 20 minutes and all responses are anonymous. There are no anticipated risks involved in participation. The survey will remain open for eligible participants to complete over the next few weeks (Closes November 8, 2024).
