Will you #GOTHEDISTANCE with IOTA to promote your profession?

The Idaho Occupational Therapy Association will ‘Go the Distance’ for our profession!!!

IOTA is excited to be hosting ‘Go the Distance’ a Virtual 3-5K Fun Walk, Run, Stroll, Bike or Hike fundraising event to promote health and wellness, as well as, a kickoff event to our 2020 Virtual Conference! Please join us in this self-paced event and support your State Association to continue to advance best practice within our communities and State. You may complete the 1.8 to 3.1 mile excursion on any date between October 10- November 14.

To show your participation, take a picture of your yourself, your family, your scenic views, your completed miles / time, etc. ‘going the distance’ and post it onto the IOTA Facebook Group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/IdahoOTassoc), Instagram (id_occupationaltherapy) or email it to info@id-ota.org to be eligible for prizes. If going for distance, use your favorite fitness app to record your time and route. You may complete the race all at once or over multiple runs/walks to equal the 3-5K distance.

Prizes will be mailed to the largest group, best picture, best costume or OT representation, most scenic view, and farthest distance beyond 5K. Random participants will also be drawn to win entry prizes!

The 3-5K event is $10 for a single entry and $50 for any size group / family (please adhere to CDC guidelines and social distancing precautions). All ages may participate.
– Bibs for the 3-5K ‘Go the Distance’ event will be emailed to the participants.
– Certificates will be emailed directly to you as well upon completion of event.
