About the Exam: The Evaluation of Social Interaction (ESI) is used to measure a client’s quality of social interaction. The ESI can be administered to any client, regardless of diagnosis or age, as long as the client is at least the developmental age of 2½ years. The ESI has been standardized on an international sample of over 6,500 people between the ages of 2 to 100+ years.
